Huh, this looks interesting. No word on price or availability yet, but presumably "expensive" and "by the end of 2015".
I would guess there is some sort of pressure regulator in the base, otherwise homes with over-pressurized water systems (like ours) might get wet ceilings (or maybe the clear section is wide enough to act as a diffuser and slow down the stream? In that case, it's only a matter of time until some wiseacre kid jury-rigs a nozzle in order to spray the ceiling).
Anyway, it looks cool, but I have no idea where one might fit in our house, if it even does come out in our price range.
