Daddy Bootcamp

I attended one more baby class this morning: New Daddy Bootcamp.

No women were allowed, except for four-month-old Grace, who was brought by one of the "Veteran Dads". The class was pretty good, with a lot of information specifically aimed at new dads on helping the mother through the birth, making sure you were involved in taking care of baby after coming home from the hospital, and being polite but firm with friends and family around the newborn.

We had three "Veteran Dads", who brought three babies with them. Every baby got it's diaper changed by one of the new dads, and every baby was fed and held by one of the new dads. I didn't change a diaper, but this little guy did drool on me for a while:

That's not actually my kid.

  1. Boy, I am glad that is not your kid as your kid just head butted my bladder!

I love you and you are going to be an amazing dad!
