We paid twenty bucks to get a refrigerator, a chest freezer and a lawnmower hauled away to be recycled.
The fridge and lawnmower came with the house. The lawnmower never worked. The fridge worked for a while, but had a refrigerant leak. The chest freezer was something we found on the sidewalk last year, but I'm pretty sure it had already lost its refrigerant - it never got cold, and I couldn't find any other problem.
Now they're all gone, and it feels like we have more space again! Now we park the stroller where the fridge used to be:
