This weekend we were gone on a quick trip so I did not have time to mow the lawn during my regular weekend time. The grass had grown happily to where I took about 6" off. Had to empty the bag 4 times when 2 typically suffices.
Spreading some fertilizer and getting the sprinklers working really brought back the parts of the lawn that hadn't died. Reseeding really fixed the area that had died:
I bet Tammy would have preferred she had acess to the unmowed lawn.
One thing I noticed is that the section of lawn that had died and reseeded has come back full force! :-)
