Man, our christmas tree held up really well. It has been in the house for five weeks, and hasn't been watered for the last two weeks. According to the sales tag when I bought it, it originally came from Washington State.
A coworker of Brianna's dropped by for a visit today. She (the coworker) was nice enough to let me commandeer her pickup truck to drive the tree to a public christmas tree "recycling center":
