I added a second exterior light to the garage door. This one has been on my list for a loooong time. Finally got it done for Halloween.
Here's how it looked yesterday:
I tied into the existing light fixture for power. I added wire across the top of the garage door, boring holes through the joists so I can finish these walls later. I made the holes big enough to run that other wire through later.
I cut a hole through the wall, and put in an old-work light box.
And then I installed the light fixture! In the process I dropped a bolt and spent 10 minutes searching for it.
And now it's completed! We have orange bulbs in there for Halloween :-)
