Bah, back to painting again. I genuinely thought this room was ready for us to come in and start painting this morning, but things that had accumulated in the room had to be removed, all the putty on the walls had to be sanded down, the shelves in the closet removed, and painter's plastic put down over the carpet.
And then we had to paint. It took forever.
It does look a heck of a lot better with all the holes filled in and all the stains, marks and scuffs painted over. Unfortunately, we only got one coat done today.
When we painted the Master Bedroom, it seemed to take forever, and Brianna and I got discouraged as we went a long (fortunately, we had family to help!). To combat that, I put together a checklist, so we can work toward a goal. Here's today's progress:
