Shopping Trip

Link and I went to Home Depot today to buy supplies to build a clothes rack in the closet of the basement bedroom. He had a good time looking at everything, and coincidentally wore "Home Depot Orange" for the trip.

Painting the Basement Bedroom

The closet in here had been converted to a built-in desk. I tore that out in order to paint the walls, and later I'll install an actual clothes rack.

Ran out of paint though. Going to have to pick up more.

Updating the Office

As part of getting the basement bedroom ready to be rented out, I'm finally touching up the paint on the upstairs office/guest bedroom (it's only been 10 months since I painted in here). Or at least I'm trying to.

Gah. I hate it when I do a stupid.

We're also moving furniture around. There is now a bed in this room, so it can actually function as a "Guest Bedroom".

Renting Out the Basement Bedroom

Brianna and I have a big house. Bigger than we need. It's been great for being able to move stuff around while working on the house, but the house improvements are largely complete now.

We're renting out the basement bedroom to a coworker of Brianna's. She'll move in in late June or early July, and stay with us for 6 to 12 months.

We still have plenty of room, though! We'll have a bed in the upstairs office for overnight visitors!
